Dr. Brian Guice, Optometric Physician
Optometric Physician and Owner. Originally from Conway, Dr. Guice obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas. He then attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, attaining the degree Doctor of Optometry. He is licensed as an Optometric Physician and has earned the highest level of optometric achievement in Arkansas. Dr. Guice is a member of the American Optometric Association, Arkansas Optometric Association, The Heights Business Association, and Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. He enjoys being outdoors with family and friends, hiking, mountain biking, and canoeing. He and his family reside in Little Rock.
Dana
Administrator and Optical Buyer. Dana is a perfectionist, the good kind! She assists Dr. Guice in managing the daily operations of his optometry practice. With over 20 years of retail management, buying and luxury sales experience, she has fashioned a relevant and engaging optical boutique that offers an assortment of artistic global frame collections. Whether she is marketing our next event or framing patients her aim is to exceed the expectations of every client that walks through our door. Dana and her husband live in the neighborhood with their Welsh corgi. If you see them walking about, say “Hello”. If you’re having trouble seeing them, it’s time to schedule a vision exam. Call us!
Allie
Optometry Assistant and Eyewear Architect. Allie provides a variety of clinical, front desk and sales assistance to our team. She has a keen eye for style and will skillfully help you select new frames that will accentuate your best features, fit your lifestyle and express your individual attitude. When she’s not here helping patients look completely fabulous, she attends the University of Arkansas Little Rock full time as a Anthropology major. Allie loves to cook and has quite predictably become an eyewear fanatic.
Kyrsten
Specs Clinician and Certified Para-optometric. Kyrsten’s approach to frameology is one of compassion. Her dedication to health care and treating the whole person is top notch. That’s why she’s been a favorite of our patients for years. It’s not surprising to our team that she’s only months away from achieving her Bachelors Degree in Science with a major in Nursing from the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences. Go Kyrsten, Go!
Kerry
Co-Founder. Kerry worked as Sales Manager for Ruth's Chris Steak House in Memphis before returning to Little Rock, where she worked as General Manager of Trio's Restaurant before committing to opening Kavanaugh Eye Care with Dr. Guice. She brings the same exceptional customer service and marketing expertise to Kavanaugh Eye Care that she attained in the fine dining industry. Kerry is also a photographer, and is currently focusing on working from home while raising her and Dr. Guice's two adventurous and energetic toddlers, Violet and Archer. In her spare time she enjoys running and getting creative in the kitchen.
