FAQ

My vision insurance is not listed above, can I still utilize my benefits at Kavanaugh Eye Care?
Every insurance plan is different, but in many cases, you can utilize your vision benefits out-of-network. The amount of reimbursement for out-of-network products and services may be different than for in-network product and services.  You will have to call your vision insurance provider to find out for sure about your plan. Our office can help you with this process.
I don't have vision insurance but Dr. Guice is a provider for my health insurance plan.  Will my medical insurance cover my exam?
In some cases and depending on the reason for your eye exam, major medical insurance plans may cover all or a portion of your examination.
I don't have a separate vision plan but my medical insurance does allow for 1 routine eye exam every year or two.  Can Kavanaugh Eye Care bill my exam for me?
Yes.  Some specific insurance providers include a routine vision benefit. It is best for you to call your insurance company to confirm that a routine exam is covered under your plan, but we will call to confirm for you when you arrive.
